Open .pas file by explorer in win10 [closed]

1

I use Delphi 7 and after switching windows 7 to windows 10 (Enterprise), I can no longer open .pas files directly from Explorer.

When I double-click the .pas file, a new instance of Delphi is opened, but without the desired file.

I have tried to open the file as an administrator, but without success.

When you need to open a .pas file, you must open it using Delphi's own OpenDialogs.

Has anyone ever been in this situation?

Change default programs in Windows 10

  • In the Start menu, select Settings .
  • Select Apps > Default apps.
  • Scroll to the end and click " Set defaults per application "
  • Select the default application that you want to set in the Delphi case, then choose Extentions .
  • Ps: Applications need to be installed so you can set them as the default.
