Use AsyncTask in web page data capture in Android app

Good morning, plus a newbie in android development. Going straight to the point, I would like to know how to call an AsyncTask, which captures a String in a webpage, inside another class, passing the string fetched to a TextField. I confess that I did not fully understand the examples found, and would like some help. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers this question.
