Although there's an idea that there are no viruses for Apple's system, it's not correct, though it's more difficult. You'll always hear that good usage is the best antivirus -- for any system. But even so, it can still slip through.
I use Bitdefender, and I run it every week. So far it has never found anything. Although, and without being an expert or much less, the virus is a bit out of fashion and now are other types of problems such as spyware, etc ... so it seems that we are not free of that.
The work that uses windows, they take that part very seriously by buying the complete programs not only with the antivirus.
