If you're coming from a Samsung, don't use an iPhone.
A Huawei P30 is a better option. You won't have to switch/buy apps again for starters.
For the price of an iPhone X you can get a Huawei P30 which is far better in every way than Apple's phone.
And if it's an iPhone Xs you're thinking of then Huawei's alternative, the P30 Pro, is also far superior and cheaper to boot.
