Always, a camera.
If you're a photographer and you're asking yourself this question...
Better... you should say you're not a photographer ;)
No seriously... the iPhone is a mobile phone with an excellent camera.
If you're a photographer, invest in a PHOTOGRAPHIC CAMERA.
Happiness.
Good luck.
No doubt an iPhone 11. I am a fan of photography and I have a canon reflex camera that has been in storage for YEARS. When I go on trips or just any day, I have a camera in my pocket that takes spectacular photos. Although you might be able to do the same with the iPhone XR camera and save 5k pesos.
A mobile phone is the worst way to spend your money. Its lifespan is absurdly short and planned obsolescence is always lurking. I have a 550D and after 9 years it's still going strong, and in this case it's worth noting that it's not professional equipment and still takes better pictures than any current phone: imagine what you can achieve with a newer piece of photographic equipment.
A camera will give you more quality, but the iPhone is more useful because it comes with tools for editing photos and videos in 4K.
I am also an amateur photographer. My first camera was a Nikon D3300. I can GUARANTEE you that the sensor of a mobile phone camera will never compare to that of a DSLR or Mirrorless camera and that mobile phone lenses will NEVER replace the dedicated lenses used by the aforementioned cameras. If you love photography, buy a camera.
