I'm going to assume you mean laptops. I bought a g575 for $300+, on Black Friday over 10 yrs ago. I still use it but with Linux OS's . I wanted to buy a ThinkPad but they were over $1000. Lenovo had bought IBM in 2005. One screen hinge on my g575 is loose from so much use. If you could spend like $500 or more, the quality of the chassis would be better, better built. As the saying goes 'you get for what you pay' is very true of laptops.
