The maximum size technically today of a pendrive is precisely 2 Tb

A pendrive of 1 tb of a known brand easily exceed 300 €.

All the cheap 2Tb flash drives are fakes, you have to be very careful because even on Amazon devices appear with good reviews, but looking carefully you can see that they correspond to others of less size and not the indicated.

A Sandisk 1Tb flash drive that is not a particularly good brand although it is not bad either is around 300 euros.

Of course there are images detecting that size, you pay me and I manipulate an image to say that it has detected 1 exabyte, and if you pay me a bit more I'll try to manipulate the data on an 8 Gb flash drive to say it has 2 Tb

If you see an offer for a Nisupu branded drive, which is a delicate way of saying Not even His Fucking Mother knows this brand with a large capacity at a very cheap price, the probability of it being a scam is one hundred percent

This is a cheap, high-capacity external hard drive... do you see anything strange?

Think that companies with a certain prestige are fighting with each other to offer you the best at the lowest price because they live off sales. Do you really think an unknown Chinese brand will give you ten times more for a fraction of the price because they love you so much?

And of course why don't Amazon and other companies remove those brands from their offerings?

They do... but they create a new brand, offer the same thing and between the time they sell, people protest and get shut down they've sold a few hundred units to naive people. They rebrand and start all over again

They are usually fake.

They contain a small amount of memory, usually 8GB or so, and a specially manipulated controller chip that lies and reports a size of 2TB.

As soon as more than 8GB is copied onto them, all files that were placed on them are destroyed due to the fraudulent configuration.

They are also used in a number of other ways.
