Hello, you should have no problems playing videos in W10, as long as you have updated drivers and the system is working properly. There are many reasons that can trigger choppy videos, starting with outdated drivers for your video card, then a VERY fragmented disk, the size of the video you want to play, the hardware you have (if it is very old it may not have the processing power to display the video) etc. these types of questions are easier to answer if you give a description of your hardware.
