How to check for errors in the application with android stúdio 3.0

I hope to count on everyone's understanding as I am just hobbysta, I started learning android with version 2.3.3 of android studio and checked the errors and logs through the Monitor tool, but after I updated to version 3.0 this tool disappeared and I can no longer check for errors, could someone please give me a light?
