I'm not sure if the users of this site respond to this type of question, but since I received great positive recommendations about this site, it's hard to try.
A few years ago I asked for a person to install a network of a little old program, made in Clipper, that is used for client management.
So far it worked perfectly on the three computers on my network, all Windows 7 32bits, but I had a problem with the computers and had to format them. I have a good knowledge in computer science, I do my own maintenance, but I am caught in the following problem:
Before formatting the computers I saved the program folder and pasted it back into the main host pc, did all the file sharing for the program, and the same one runs normally on the host machine (Windows 7 32bits) , I made the whole process from the folder of this program to access it through my network.I can start it from other pcs, but this program has a password to access its management, and every time I try to enter the password it displays the error: "password files are not available"
By the host pc I can enter the password and open the program normally, but by the computers of the network I only open the program but I can not enter your password.
Could you help me with a possible solution, or fix me something I might not have done when I created the share? I lost touch with the person who did it all the first time.
