Vs Code does not show directory / var / www

I try to add the / var / www folder to the Visual Studio Code workspace, but clicking 'add folder to workspace' and navigating to the / var directory does not show the www folder.

Any idea what it is?

I had the same problem with Mint, apparently when installing vscode with Application Manager it can not open, it should be some problem with user group.

I downloaded the .deb direct from the website and it worked. Detail, the code command also did not work by installing through the manager, now works.
