From time to time (3 months) an application, which is running in vb6, at times and in some clients, presents the following message.
Failed to load control "" from "" Your version of may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with the application.
In quotes by the following ... then in case it would be gridex20 .... The application opens and runs normal ..... and after some time the message appears ... just that was giving the message in a given ocx .... I ended up removing it from the system .... then gave in another that also removed ..... and now in another ocx ......
I tried to register on windows ... reinstall ..... and not solve ...
The problem occurs in windows 7 and win10.
Is someone going through this?
