Anaconda Python Installation - PyCharm Projects

0

I use Windows 10 and recently I realized that my files and projects developed through the PyCharm IDE, as well as the installation of the Anaconda package, are located in a folder in the directory that contains spaces (C: \ Users \ Thiago Panini). I believe that this appointment is causing me some problems that may be aggravated in the future. My configuration failed.

That said, I decided to create a new user on Windows with administrator privileges, only this time with no spaces. My question is: since there is already a (reasonably vast) work done via PyCharm, what would be the appropriate way to import the projects created in the old user to the new user? After this import, would it be possible to delete old user data? Is there any trauma in this migration?

Actually the idea would be to migrate to this new user and discontinue the old one, given this configuration failure.

I even thought about creating a VM to organize the work from now on, but I do not know if that would be valid.

Thank you very much. Thiago Panini
