How to properly import my application into the ionic creator?

Initially I ran the command ionic start nameApp tabs that generated me the structure of the app and inside the folder nameApp to a src folder and another www I put my project that was done in the ionic creator inside the folder www but when running the ionic does it run the template tabs has anyone had it? I'm using version 3 of ionic and npm 6 and node 10.
