Android - How to notify UI updates from a CursorLoader without ContentProvider?

How to notify UI updates using Loader without ContentProvider ?

I am using a% custom% to show a list using CursorAdapter through RecyclerView (Storing data in pure SQLite, without being Room). But I do not know how to notify an UI update.

In the introductory course I did, I learned using Loader . But I do not see a real need to implement ContentResolver if you do not share this data with any other application.

Should I then implement a ContentResolver just to be able to notify updates? Would there be no other way to accomplish this?
