I have a need to relate Wordpress (Woocommerce) product categories to the user, so that he can inform the categories of products he would like to receive warnings via email.
What would be the best way to do this? is there a function equivalent to "wp_set_post_categories" but for use in the wp_user table instead of wp_posts?
