Personally, I work in a company focused on Desktop development using the DataFlex language (yes, you've probably never heard of Rs). My boss wants to get into the web / mobile development business for the commercial sector. However, no one in the company has great knowledge in this area and since most of the members of this group are already familiar with this area, I would like to ask for a suggestion of what would be the best toolsets (Language, IDE, BD etc ..) we could use to meet the following requirements:
The architecture would be as follows:
- It can be for the web (and obligatorily portar to mobile, therefore the focus will be this) or a application for smartphone.
- You need to synchronize your data with the Desktop application (which uses the DataFlex database).
-Actually be cheap (in the sense of licensing / distributing the system to customers)
-The development tool (s) can be paid as long as the distribution is free.
-Objective is to cheapen the price at the time of selling the software to the customer.
-The systems will be focused on commercial applications (bakeries, bars, clothing stores, even for colleges etc ...)
-First, we would like to not depend on the internet at all times for the customer to use the system.
-The database should not exceed 15kk of records.
