How to check if the user has a .pfx certificate installed on the device using IONIC v3

I'm using IONIC v3

I need the user to have a certain .pfx SSL certificate installed on their device to access an api URL.

What I want to know is whether it already has this certificate or not before calling the URL.

Is this possible?
