Blank page when using ionic serve

When I run the ionic serve command, it opens in the browser, but opens as a blank screen. This always happens when I run this command the first time.

If I press the Ctrl + Shift + I button the application appears, it works fine, but sometimes the screen goes white and doing the Ctrl + Shift + I command returns.

Has anyone ever been through this?
