What is the difference between Metaspace and Permgen?
I've been trying to understand for a while, could you help?

The main difference between the two is that Metaspace increases its size according to use while the permgen has fixed size. IS You can set a maximum size for Metaspace, but you can not make Permgen auto-increment its size.
