How to publish an MVC 5 site?

I made a hosting subscription to Godaddy and I am doubtful to publish the project.

Currently in the root directory of the site contains only one HTML page: index.html, as we can see below.

I have exactly your infrastructure. Set up as FTP.

Logic that for www.mysite.com respond in the index you have to configure, which is a default setting ... so I do not think there is a problem.

With this configuration it will play the ready website inside your httpdocs.
