Npgsql 3.2.2 or higher my application is running very slow

I installed the new version of Npgsql (4.0.3), but my application started to get very slow. The whole process, including opening a window that does not use a connection. I tested and upgraded to version 3.2.1 my application runs normally. I do not know if this influences, but I'm using devexpress!
