I downloaded Eclipse, installed and performed the entire procedure correctly. As soon as I finished installing and restarting the PC, I went to run the program and this error appeared:

Eclipse did not open.

You should install the JDK of available java here be aware of the architecture (x86, x64), it must be equal to its sistema operacional and equal to eclipse , this installation will altomatically add the path of JDK and JRE to PATH , eclipse will have no problem finding and using both.
