Google Maps does not load

0

I created an application to test google maps, but when I run the mobile phone the map does not load ... the google logo appears in the lower left corner but the rest of the screen goes blank ... I added the permissions on the AndroidManifest.xml, and the mobile is connected to the internet ... I do not know how to proceed

AndroidManifest:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    package="etec.googlemaps">

    <!--
         The ACCESS_COARSE/FINE_LOCATION permissions are not required to use
         Google Maps Android API v2, but you must specify either coarse or fine
         location permissions for the 'MyLocation' functionality.
    -->
    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" />
    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"/>
    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE"/>

    <application
        android:allowBackup="true"
        android:icon="@mipmap/ic_launcher"
        android:label="@string/app_name"
        android:supportsRtl="true"
        android:theme="@style/AppTheme">

        <!--
             The API key for Google Maps-based APIs is defined as a string resource.
             (See the file "res/values/google_maps_api.xml").
             Note that the API key is linked to the encryption key used to sign the APK.
             You need a different API key for each encryption key, including the release key that is used to
             sign the APK for publishing.
             You can define the keys for the debug and release targets in src/debug/ and src/release/.
        -->
        <meta-data
            android:name="com.google.android.geo.API_KEY"
            android:value="@string/google_maps_key" />

        <activity
            android:name=".MapsActivity"
            android:label="@string/title_activity_maps">

The Api Key you generated will only work if you use the same keystore to generate the apk. In Android Studio, Build menu - > Generate Signed APK, and choose the keystore used to generate the Api key.

Friend your app will only work if you have the key from maps: go to this file of your code "res / values / google_maps_api.xml"

find this line of code:

<name="google_maps_key" translatable="false" templateMergeStrategy="preserve">ADD_API_KEY_HERE   <--
</string>

and swap ADD_API_KEY_HERE for the provided google developer site

You need to create a maps project ( here ) to get you a key . This key should be added to your google_maps_api.xml file where it will be: ADD_API_KEY_HERE. In order for you to get a key to replace in the file I mentioned above you will need to generate a sha-1 that is shown in the link I added.
