Problems of connection wifi and to install git in ubuntu 16.04

0

I am a new user of Ubuntu 16.04 (I started yesterday !!). My PC is in dual-boot with Windows 10. I have two problems and I'm already a little desperate ...

1) WiFi does not work (I type the password and nothing happens). On windows and on the phone everything works perfectly.

2) I need to install git for a course, but it is not working ... I do sudo apt-get install git and many temporary resolution error "fr. archive.ubuntu.com ". I've tried upgrading, but nothing ... the same error messages.

Could someone please help me solve these problems?

Thank you !!!! :)

Ps. Sorry for the lack of accents.

For Wifi, try connecting first via the network cable, see if it works. It is common for linux not to come with some wifi card drivers and video card because they are owners. Go into configuration, then "additional drivers" and install the optional drivers, but you need to be connected to the internet.

For apt-get install, you must first have access to the internet to install the additional packages (it's possible via CD, too, but it's a more complicated process). With internet access, enter configurations and repositories, select the fastest repository (usually Brazilians due to the shorter distance).
