This snippet should be inserted into every page of your site that you want to measure. It is recommended that you enter within the head of the site.
I always recommend that you use Google Tag Manager (or any other tag manager) to implement the tags and make any kind of tagging, as well as making the process and maintenance simpler, making the upload asynchronous.
