Put accent on javascript code [duplicate]

I'm doing a pedagogical job of completing words, however some words have accents and even if I put in the code it appears that it is wrong, I wanted to know how to put the word in the code with accent and at the time of the test when put with accent would be right .

I think you could understand it, in the word Mom, for example, it only works if you put Mommy without an accent. I would like you to put Mommy, and if it's some code, just the letter that indicates a table please

and change the line that checks for:

The eliminaAcentos(i) function will check for accented letters and replace them with the non-accented letter. Therefore, it does not matter if the person types a word with or without accents.

To further decrease the code, you can use RegExp in the function, thus:
