Studying about artificial intelligence, I observed a lot of the term fuzzy logic, or fuzzy logic . What is this fuzzy logic and what are its applications? I know it's different from Boolean logic, but what's different about the two logics?

Fuzzy logic is a logic that differs from Boolean because it works with a scale of values and not only with the binary scale true and false . This scale of values determines the degree of membership of an element in a given set. In this way, it is possible to be less radical in data classification, because instead of simply saying that an element belongs or not to a set you can say that it belongs with a certain degree of pertinence.
