doubts with percent logic [closed]

Hello, I have a question on a percentage problem ... Ana wins R $ 5,000 and Julio earns R $ 9,0000.00. They have a debt of R $ 6,000.00 in common and want to pay this amount in proportion to the amount they receive. How much is the share due to each?

I'm doing the following calculation:

9000 -------- 100%
5000 -------- X%

500000 = 9000X
X = 500000/9000
X = 55.55%

That is, Ana earns 45% less than Julio, so she should pay 45% of R $ 6,000.00.

This is not making much sense to me. Can anyone help me?

Hello,

First you have to calculate the sum of both income, that is, 9000 + 5000 = 14000 reais.

The percent yield of each is: Ana 5000x100 / 14000 = 35.71% Julius 9000x100 / 14000 = 64.29%

To pay proportionately, the calculation is as follows:

Ana 0.3571x6000 = 2142.60 Reais Júlio 0.6429x6000 = 3857.40 Reais
