Upload app to Apple Store

I'm trying to upload an app in the apple store using xCODE 8, but I get the message that it's no longer possible to upload to the apple store using xCODE 8. So I researched it, it's possible to upload apps using only version 9 or higher. Can anyone confirm this?

According to documentation , the version used to publish applications is always the latest version. Currently xcode is in version 9.0, but version 10.0 of Xcode is already available. That will be made available with IOS 12.
