Colors changing according to the monitor

I'm creating a website for use in the company I work for, this site has a blue background and everything, in my notebook it looks great, the blue color I chose, but when I switch to another monitor it turns purple, color completely off my scale, am I doing something wrong or can it be the same monitor?

  • The ideal is to always use the RGB or Hexadecimal reference of the color you want to apply. I believe that the blue of the background of the site is based on some color that is in the logo of the company or some form of material;

  • If this reference does not exist, I recommend the Material color palette Google Design

  • However, to ensure fidelity, check the monitor's color profile, or restore to the factory settings.

What can happen are two things:

  • The browser change impacts the correct color rendering (which is extremely unlikely ), since it is a subtle change and only occurs when colors are defined as "red", "blue", etc ... instead of the use of RGB, HSL ...)
  • Really one of the monitors does not have very good color fidelity or trade in HUE (probably)

For references:

HUE (wikipedia in English)

Sample test monitor sites: Vanity.dk and LCD Monitor Test .
