Change style - Bootstrap [closed]

I created a file and added a navigation menu using Bootstrap, but wanted to change some things like font color and stuff ... I created a style.css file and linkei in my index, but it does not change anything, I try to put the name of the class I used in my navigation menu and it does not change anything.
