I'm experiencing a problem when trying to configure my computer to run the application the same way it runs on the server, the characters that are returned from the Oracle database, appear with a? in place of the special character.
My computer's settings are:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
The IIS settings are:
IIS 7.5
ASP application pages are defined with ANSI encoding and defined in their scope with:
Response.CharSet = "ISO-8859-1"
The provider used on the server, and therefore I should replicate it to my computer, is MSDAORA .
The oracle version is 11g .
Has anyone ever been through this?
