DNVM, DNX, and DNU what do they serve?

With ASP.Net 5 these new models have come up. This new model also provides command-line tools for managing the choice of .NET version, library packages, and runtime environment outside of Visual Studio. But in fact what does each model actually do? What is the need and role of each model?
