I have a problem with a project where I manage e-mail.
Idea: List the emails. When entering an email, list all responses to the email
Problem: To know if an email is another email response I am using the "references" field that comes from the "imap_headerinfo" function. This works in many cases. The big problem is when the "message_id" field is empty. This causes the value that comes from the references field to be: "[email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]" It returns in the middle a blank space. This way I can not figure out which email belongs there.
Is there another way to know that email is the response of another email?
