Move project from git to workspace

Using eclipse I cloned my github repository in the /home/douglas/git directory. My repository calls X and inside it is my Y project. When I'm going to import the project into eclipse I would like it to be moved to the eclipse workspace. Is this possible?

Make the clone by means of the EGit tool inside the eclipse. It will be simpler. In the step by step you will be asked if you want to import the project.
