There are many advantages to using Redis as a database, but this is already known.

I would like to know the disadvantages of using redis or in which scenarios it would be too much of a problem to use it.

Perhaps its drawbacks are based on more advanced concepts of technology, however, I will try to expound my view on it. One point I like to make clear about Redis is that it is a bank that also persists on disk, but its main feature would be direct allocation to RAM, so it is very important that its use is well because this flexibility can result in major problems for its application. I believe that disadvantages in its use are really limited, perhaps its misuse results in new points or even comparisons with similar technologies, but today, I do not see any disadvantages in its use, in a correct and well thought, of course.
