Failed to install MySql Server 5.x on Windows 10 (64bit) [closed]

Good evening,

I'm trying to install MySql Server 5.x (32 and 64bit) on Windows 10 (64bit), but in the middle of the installation the process is aborted with the following message:

'... there is no MySql Server version available ...'

Can anyone help?

The MySQL Installer for Windows will download the files according to the items you select in the initial steps of the installation. You probably can not connect to the Internet.

An alternative is to download the files for manual installation at link . Select MySQL Community Server, Operating Syatem Windows and the Windows file (x86, 64-bit), ZIP Archive (approx 300MB). Then unzip and run mysqld.exe. You can install as a Windows service with the --install parameter.
