Requirements traceability matrix is the same as bi-directional traceability between test cases and requirements? [closed]

Contextualizing

While studying for the CTFL certification - Certified Tester Foundation Level I came across the following study.

Below are the Basic Activities in the Testing Process

  • Plan and control
  • Analyze and model
  • Implement and run
  • Evaluate Input / Output and Create Execution Reports
  • Create Completion Reports

    • Regarding item 2 (Analyze and model) it is explained that among its main activities are:

    2.1 Prepare the Test environment and identify the necessary tools

    2.2 Create a bidirectional traceability between requirements and Test cases

    My question

    Looking at item 2.2 is it correct to state that it is talking about traceability matrix?

    If this association is correct, could someone explain and illustrate this bi-directional traceability matrix between requirements and test cases with illustrations?
