Company authorization for app submission

I need to submit an application to the Apple Store, which I did as a freelancer for a company. The app has photos and descriptions of the company and its customers.

I've been told that I need to get an authorization from the company along with the app. Does anyone know the template for this authorization? Do you know if I have to send in the moment that the app will be submitted, by fax or something?

Beyond the rule of apple say: "Apps may not use protected third party material such as trademarks, copyrights, patents or violate 3rd party terms of use."

I spoke to a person who had to send an authorization, but no longer has access to it and does not remember.

  • I already sent the app and it was accepted without asking me anything, it took about 5 days to be approved.
  • In the process of updating the app to version 1.1 I was asked by Apple if I viewed third-party content and replied yes. It was asked if I had authorization for this and I also answered yes, because I do. I did not have to send anything until today
