ie7 x Chrome Brightness

1

I'm moving into a responsive portfolio project, and I'm configuring ie7 with pieces of css itself, I'm already using the modernizer.

I use ubuntu 13.10 and to run IE7 I use wine with playonlinux, and it seems to me that the site I'm building has less brightness than Google Chrome that runs directly on ubuntu, is this normal?

Remember that for development I use firefox because of firebug, which helps a lot.

Yes it is normal, since each browser has its own way of rendering the page.

There are browsers that have pretty much the same rendering base, such as chrome and firefox, but IE (Internet Explorer) I consider a browser out of any standard.

Look at this comparison image.

Google's own home page looks different in both browsers, the brightness, the look, and Google looks guys are professionals and can not make it look exactly the same in IE and Chrome.
