What happens when the subscription key expires?

1

I have read that when the application signing key expires we can no longer update our application on Google Play .

The Google recommendation is for this key to have an expiry date of at least 25 years.

Taking this into account, I have a key that will expire in 2033. It may be that by then my applications will no longer be used.

I have signed all applications with the same key, as this makes things easier. What might happen when the key expires? Can I renew and continue to update my apps or lose them as they can not be updated on Google Play?

Thanks in advance!

25 Years Make sure that Google makes a number of improvements on how to make an application available, and developers will certainly not be at hand. The technology advances and will be different in 2040, do not worry about this issue, it is not the time to spend effort since they are 25 years, by then, you can create another application with another new signature, but keeping your proposal in the application. There are plenty of alternatives, so rest easy about it.
