Whenever I use OG goals for Facebook sharing, I insert them into the header and hide the current site description and title goals.
The question is: OG goals need to be in the header of the site? Is there a problem if they are inside the page inside the body tag? Has anyone tested with this?
Opá! Tag targets were created to be used in the HTML header, since they and all header contents are invisible to end users. Inserting them in the body, besides not adding anything to the user experience, also breaks the rules given by W3C.
Whether it's Facebook or not, they're still meta tags, so let them pretty much instantiated in the HTML header.See: W3C School
