To use Admob is it mandatory to publish the app in an official store?

I'm finishing an app that displays banners coming from Admob. It was not clear to me if the app has to be distributed in an official store (Google Play or Apple App Store), or if I can distribute it by other means, such as email, website, etc.

Your application is not required to be in the Google store to be monetized, however you # and do not distribute it in debug mode. If you publish in debug mode, it is considered to be in test mode. According to AdMob policies:

It is against AdMob's policy to click on the active ads themselves. During development and testing, use test ads. If you no need to render active ads before posting, avoid click on them. If you click on active ads, your AdMob account may be suspended.

Note : Check the ID of the ad, if it is not entered correctly, you will not be monetized.
