I would like a function to monitor the inbox of E-Mail.

In general, e-mail boxes have access via the "POP3" protocol. Unfortunately, and to my surprise too, I did not find in the Framework a "standard" implementation. Usually this is ready.

Luckily, there are some implementations open out there. I did not use any of them, but it's worth checking if they are mature and reliable projects:
