Configuring the Domain with Google Compute

1

I have a virtual machine on Google Compute Engine with Wordpress and I have a registered registry in the Registry.br.

I want to register my domain on Google Compute, but I'm not succeeding. Does anyone know the procedure?

  • In Google Cloud, enter the Console.
  • In the side menu, click the "Networks" item.
  • Enter "External IP Addresses", locate the instance you want and create a static address for it.
  • Copy this static (external) address.
  • Click "Cloud DNS" on the side submenu.
  • Create a zone and enter its detail screen.

6.1 - In the NS records list, copy two of the addresses and enter them in the "registry.br" as DNS Master and Slave respectively.

6.2 - In the same screen (zone detail), click "Add Recordset" and add a record of type "A".

6.2.1 In the IPv4 field, enter the static (external) IP address of your desired instance created on Compute Engine.

  • Optional: Within your compute engine, configure your server / proxy according to your domain / subdomain.
