Image Density Change (DPI)

1

I'm working with a project that I do image capture and I need to transmit that image with 200dpi, I would like to know how do I change the image density to 200 dpi?

Hmm ... classic question ... I'll try to explain, because this is not "directly" possible. DPI stands for DOT PER INCH. This is the density not of the image, but of the "macina" that will allow to visualize the image. For example you have an image of 3000x3000. In an impeller with 600 DPI-> 3000/600 = 5 inchs. One inch: 2.54cm then the image will do, on paper 5x2,54 = 12,7 cm. Your computer screen has a DPI of 72 up to 108 DPI. In the case of 96 DPI (basic a 23 "full hd), we will have an image of: 3000/96 = 31 inch then 31x2.54 = 78cm.

This means that you can not really change the DPI of the image because the image does not have DPI. It has pixels, nothing more.

But really, leave the image in this form, send and wait. In 99.99% of cases, the pesson that "needs XX DPI" knows none of this.
