Error 403 - the web server is configured not to list the content

I'm having trouble running my local server in Visual Studio 2013. When I try to run my application the following screen appears:

It can be:

  • Permissions problems in the project folder
  • Permissions issues in the project configuration in IIS.
  • Default file for project listing.
