Good morning! I wonder if anyone has tried using sqrt on edgeR via Rstudio to increase their N and significance. I was having some problems with my reads (RefSeq) as low Ns and low differential expression number, so I tried to apply sqrt on my reads to approximate my values.
I need to know two things: 1) Is this feasible mathematically? 2) Has anyone tried?
