Why does the preview of the layouts no longer appear after upgrading to Android Studio 3.0?

I made the update of Android Studio 2.3.3 for 3.0 . From there, only headache: projects ready with problem .

In both the layouts design tab and the preview window, the screen layout ( design of the layout ). What appears in the preview window is android..ActionBarOverlayLayout message as seen in the image below. Also, database queries over HTTP also stopped!

Whatcanitbe?

Look at me happening this way the way I found to get around this situation was by clicking on AppTheme and selecting the following option:

After selecting this option go to Build and then in Clean Project, the preview should already appear!

It happened the same way as with you, it was me updating and gave this problem.

With me I simply change the version of Android in preview and it works, I put 24 or less.
